GeorgieLearning English is a piece of cake, don't you think? Here are four phrases with 'cake'. If something is a piece of cake, it's very easy to do! Fixing the bike was a piece of cake once I found the right tools. You can't have your cake and eat it too! That means sometimes it's impossible to have or do two things, and you have to choose. He wants to spend all his money on holidays and save for a house, but he can't have his cake and eat it too. A slice of the cake means a share of something valuable like money often profits. The company made huge profits, so the workers are hoping for a slice of the cake. If something is the icing on the cake, it makes a good situation even better, or a bad situation even worse.
